Letter from a donor

We at the Free Health Care Center are so privileged and grateful for the generosity of our donors. Two of our wonderful friends sent us this letter:

Dear Hard-Working Folks at Catholic Charities,

My fiancé and I are getting married in 9 days in my home town of Pittsburgh! We wanted to do something special as a favor for our guests.

So, rather than giving them something that they might leave on the table or never use again, we wanted to give to a charity we know would put it to good use.

We both cannot thank you enough for the amazing work you do every day. Since we both work in the medical field, we wanted to donate this money to the free healthcare clinic.

We will continue to pray for all of you!

Best,
Kara & Carl B.

We Are Looking for New Volunteers!

Even with much devoted support, the demand for medical and dental care continues to outweigh our ability to serve those in need. Therefore we are seeking to expand our volunteer-base of medical, dental, and support professionals.

As a volunteer practitioner, you will have access to:

  • Administrative support provided by full- and part-time staff and volunteers
  • Six medical and six dental exam suites
  • Digital dental x-ray equipment
  • Electronic health records
  • Primary and specialty medical and dental volunteer services
  • Free parking

Volunteers at CCFHCC are delighted with their experiences. Dr. J. Mark Prybyl is a former Volunteer Dentist who now serves on our full-time staff. He says:
The caring atmosphere and chance to practice dentistry ... without patients being limited by expense or insurance coverage made working here a no brainer. We would love to have more volunteers as the need is so great. No amount of time is too little to donate to our cause!

Please help CCFHCC to spread the word to patients who might benefit from our services and professionals interested in volunteering! Together, we can do great things for those in need!

If you are interested in volunteering, please contact our Volunteer Coordinator, at (412) 456-6977.
